PPA – Gynaecological-urological concept

In our REHASPRING centre we work with the gynaecological-urological concept PPA (Palaščáková Pelvic Approach), accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, which was developed by Ingrid Palaščáková Špringrová, PhD, a specialist in urogynaecology and an expert in 2D and 3D/4D ultrasound examination of pelvic floor muscles.
Diagnosis and therapy within the PPA concept is based on an individual approach to the woman and modern instrumentation, which are the basis for reproducible findings and subsequent physiotherapy procedures.
Our professional and expert competence includes the evaluation of pelvic floor muscle function and dysfunction and the therapy of symptoms associated with pelvic floor muscle dysfunction such as:
Urinary incontinence in women and men | Prolapse of the pelvic organs | Diastasis  abdominal muscles separation | Anorectal dysfunction | Dysmenorrhea | Endometriosis | Erectile dysfunction
History of the accredited PPA method

The first accreditation of the Rehaspring concept was in 2016, with the title “Physiotherapy for pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and incontinence”, it became an inspiration for many colleagues. The PPA method is constantly evolving and works with state-of-the-art equipment such as 2D/3D/4D ultrasound, electronic protocols and body composition analysis using segmental bioelectrical impedance analysis.

We have now trained over 700 PPA therapists, therapists who are dedicated to urogynaecological care.
